How can I move my broadband router from the hallway to the living room, so that I can connect my BT vision box up?

We had been having problems with our new Sky Q set up, either we would loose internet connection to the main Sky box or the mini. This had been happening for over 9 months despite having 2 Sky engineer visits. Peter was bale to relocate our main Sky router to the corner of the TV lounge and run an external Ethernet cable directly to the mini box in the bedroom above the kitchen. It has all been running without any internet disconnection what so ever for over a month now. I had Openreach in today, they have installed my fibre ONT in my garage. The engineer insisted that that was the only place it could go, and that I would need to get an independent engineer to run an Ethernet cable to my office. That way I can move the router.
